The check-out report provides a detailed comparison between the initial check-in inventory and the property’s condition at the end of the tenancy. It identifies any damages, cleaning issues, items left behind or missing, and any safety concerns. As independent experts, we clearly outline tenant liabilities, ensuring a transparent and fair assessment of the property’s state at move-out.
On or shortly after the tenancy’s final day, our clerk visits the property with the check-in inventory in hand. They conduct a thorough, page-by-page inspection, documenting every difference—big or small—between the move-in and move-out conditions.
The clerk performs a second walkthrough to take detailed photographs of the property, ensuring all angles are covered. This step serves as an additional check to confirm that no details are overlooked.
If the tenant or landlord is present, we highlight any concerns on-site. If no one is available, the clerk contacts the letting agent to report urgent issues, such as cleaning deficiencies or maintenance needs. A handwritten summary is signed by any attending parties for confirmation.
Within 24 hours of the inspection, we deliver the finalised report to the client. Our team remains available to address any questions from tenants or landlords and provide guidance on the report’s findings.
With years of experience in the contracting industry, we have the expertise and knowledge to provide our clients with the best advice and guidance. Whether you're looking to build a new home, renovate an existing property, or undertake any other construction project, we're here to help.
